Job summary

R Systems in West Sacramento, CA seeks a Data Architect with strong Snowflake, data warehouse, governance, and data quality experience to support enterprise data initiatives. You will define data architecture, governance frameworks, data models, and warehouse solutions while supporting project delivery.

The role collaborates with business, technology, and data stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture and technical specs, and to support BI, analytics, and data warehouse

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical PM, Data Architecture, or related tech delivery.
• 3+ years designing Data Warehouse/Data Architecture solutions.
• 3+ years hands-on Snowflake or cloud DW experience.
• 3+ years in data analysis, profiling, quality remediation.
• 3+ years implementing data governance with ownership and policies.
• 3+ years working with SDLC.
• 3+ years using MS Project, Excel, Visio.
• 3+ years coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum; government exposure preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture, data warehouse, and Snowflake solutions.
• Define data models, data flows, integration patterns, and data standards.
• Lead data profiling to assess quality, completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Identify data anomalies and advise remediation and improvement.
• Establish data governance frameworks, policies, ownership, and stewardship.
• Translate requirements into architecture and technical specifications.
• Support BI, reporting, analytics, and data warehouse capabilities.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business units, architects, developers, analysts, and vendors.
• Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables using PM tools.
• Participate in Agile delivery, SDLC reviews, and governance meetings.
• Develop data architecture docs, data dictionaries, mappings, and governance artifacts.
