Job summary

Mizuho seeks a senior Data Analytics Lead within the Internal Audit Department Americas (IADA) to drive the data analytics program across audit teams. You will translate strategic objectives into executable analytics plans, build scalable analytics routines, and collaborate with Technology and business partners to ensure timely, reliable data inputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, mathematics, computer science, MIS, or a related field.
• Significant experience (10-15+ years) in internal audit, external audit, regulatory examination, or risk management within financial services.
• Strong hands-on expertise in audit data analytics, including full-population testing, anomaly detection, trend analysis, and analytics-enabled testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the IADA Data Analytics program in alignment with audit objectives and timelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain audit analytics routines to support planning, execution, and continuous auditing.
• Drive standard methodologies, reusable analytics assets, and playbooks across audits.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, and preparation with Technology and Business partners.
• Manage analytics infrastructure and tools for scalability and quality.
• Develop automated testing and continuous monitoring solutions to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Serve as primary analytics advisor to audit teams and business partners.
