Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Data Analyst to deliver analytics, prototype BI products, and own dashboard enhancements in a hybrid in‑office role based in Phoenix, AZ. You will partner with business and IT teams to design scalable analytics and backlogs for production‑grade solutions.

Qualifications include a degree in a relevant field and 1+ year experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, and Snowflake or similar platforms. In‑office four days a week with one day remote work is required.

Qualifications

• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to translate business needs into analytics.
• Advanced written and verbal communication; capable of professional content in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
• Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile; hands‑on in backlog management and product backlogs.
• Experience supporting or leading large technology and process initiatives; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries in Snowflake for Power BI dashboards and ad hoc analyses.
• Analyze data to deliver insights, ensure accuracy, and support rapid prototyping of BI products.
• Own and prioritize the BI backlog; guide from planning through release with stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure quality, usability, and release communications.
