Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Data Analyst for a 6-month contract in Tampa, FL. The role is four days on site and one day remote each week, with USC or GC eligibility and relocation considered from the southeast US.

You will analyze complex datasets, build BI reports in Power BI and Excel, and support data governance and stakeholder reporting. A Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2–5 years of analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or STEM discipline.
• 2-5 years of progressively responsible data analysis or BI experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and BI dashboards (Power BI) and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cleanse, and analyze complex datasets for reports, dashboards, and analytics products.
• Design, build, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches, data requirements, and actionable insights.
• Support solution design with exploratory analysis and data visualizations.
• Lead or support requirements gathering, data validation, UAT, and deployment readiness.
• Monitor data quality and coordinate corrective actions with data owners and tech partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize analytical needs and deliver insights.
• Provide guidance and share knowledge to analysts and drive standards.
