Job summary

PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain analytics solutions for Convenience Retail and Major Oil verticals. You will interface with customers to understand needs, develop technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery while optimizing BI on the Azure data platform.

You'll work closely with marketing, CRM, and analytics leadership to create audiences and measure campaign effectiveness, delivering scalable dashboards in Sigma Computing and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years BI/Analytics experience.
• 3–5 years on a BI/analytics team with BI principles and standards.
• Strong SQL knowledge: T-SQL and Spark SQL.
• Hands-on with Sigma Computing and Power BI (DAX).
• Experience with Azure data platform (Synapse, Databricks).
• Exposure to ETL/orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks Workflows).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build audience segments for targeted campaigns (Email, SMS, push).
• Collaborate with CRM to transfer audiences to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Serve as SME for Convenience Retail and Major Oil analytics and reports.
• Support reporting for mobile payments; track adoption and program performance.
• Develop, test, and maintain BI reports and dashboards in Sigma and Power BI.
• Write and tune SQL to prepare and validate data for reporting.
• Ensure reports meet business requirements and add insights to distributed reports.
• Create one-time reports and data extracts on request.
