Job summary

PDI Technologies, based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Data Analyst to design, develop, and deliver analytics solutions for Convenience Retail and Major Oil verticals. The role collaborates with analytics, marketing, and business leaders to translate needs into scalable reporting and insights.

You will build audience segments for campaigns, develop dashboards in Sigma Computing and Power BI, and tune data pipelines on Azure, SQL Server/Synapse, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of BI/Analytics experience.
• 3–5 years on a BI or analytics team with a solid understanding of BI principles, architecture, standards.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including T-SQL and Spark SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Sigma Computing and Power BI (Tableau a plus).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build audience segments for targeted communications across Email, SMS, and push messaging campaigns.
• Work with the CRM team to manage audience transfers to the consumer marketing platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
• Function as the SME for the Convenience Retail and Major Oil verticals and related analytics.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Sigma Computing and Power BI.
• Write and tune SQL (T-SQL and Spark SQL) to prepare, transform, and validate data for reporting and audience-building.
