Job summary

Aon is seeking a Data and AI Solutions Architect for a hybrid role with options to work from Chicago, NYC, or Bloomington, MN, or remotely within the US. The candidate will lead data-centric architecture across Azure, Databricks, OpenAI and related technologies, delivering production Gen AI capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in data-intensive roles, 3+ years in a DevOps-first environment, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in data-intensive roles with hands-on cloud/data platform work.
• 3+ years building solutions in a DevOps-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Influence leaders to plan and prioritize work and ensure delivery of business applications.
• Partner with project teams to adopt emerging technologies and data-centric solutions.
• Define data-centric architectures using Azure, Databricks, Snowflake and related tools.
• Develop and test data solutions, write scripts, and document results.
• Provide on-call support and maintain system documentation.
