Hybrid work arrangement (onsite 3 days a week) is available for a 10-month engagement. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and governing releases across multiple cybersecurity workstreams to ensure changes are secure, compliant, and production-ready in a heavily regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure, security, or regulatory remediation initiatives in Financial Services or similarly regulated environments
• Strong understanding of change management, release governance, and risk controls
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple teams, vendors, and time zones
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent releases
• Strong communication skills to explain complex release risks and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with release and change tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, or equivalent platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and how they apply in controlled enterprise environments
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams for coordination and reporting
• Experience supporting releases involving network, firewall, identity, or cloud security components is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• The Release Manager will plan, coordinate, and govern releases across multiple workstreams to ensure changes are production-ready, secure, and compliant
• Define, maintain, and execute integrated release plans across cybersecurity workstreams and delivery teams
• Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment phases across planning, build, and test activities
• Ensure releases align with program milestones, regulatory commitments, and dependency constraints
• Manage release calendars and resolve conflicts across parallel initiatives and environments
• Collaborate with Change Management to ensure releases comply with internal change control, approvals, and audits
• Identify and manage release risks, including environment readiness and rollback considerations
• Ensure release artefacts (notes, deployment plans, back-out procedures) are complete and audit-ready
• Provide visibility into upcoming releases, risks, and go/no-go decisions
• Act as coordination point between Security Engineers, Infrastructure, App teams, and project resources
• Support planning for complex infrastructure and security-related changes
• Coordinate testing to meet security, operational, and regulatory expectations before release
• Communicate with stakeholders before, during, and after releases to ensure alignment
