Job summary

Northwestern Mutual is seeking an IT & Cybersecurity Regulatory Response Consultant III to lead regulatory examinations, interpret requirements, and coordinate with first- through third-line teams to ensure regulatory readiness across the organization.

You will drive regulatory alignment, contribute to a risk-based controls program, and advance the use of data platforms and automation to improve ongoing compliance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Accounting, Business, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for annual cybersecurity certifications and regulatory requirements.
• Lead responses to regulatory exams and information requests from agencies.
• Support development of NM's California Consumer Privacy Act Article 9 program.
• Articulate regulatory interpretations and build stakeholder consensus on scope, controls, remediation, and risk conclusions.
• Drive integration of regulatory requirements into an automated continuous controls monitoring program using a unified data platform.
