Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in computer science, information science, information systems or related field.
• Three to five years’ practical experience in information systems.
• Experience with full stack development.
• Domain-related certifications.
• Additional requirements from state licensing or accreditation considerations.
• Faculty must have exceptional communication skills and commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops an approved DeVry University syllabus and updates course materials.
• Organizes, prepares, and revises all course materials regularly.
• Uses online tools and platforms to deliver courses and engage students.
• Models clear oral and written communication to enhance learning.
• Publishes course objectives and schedules and ensures alignment with assessments.
• Ensures exams reflect course objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Integrates responsible AI use in teaching and addresses AI tool use appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
