Job summary

AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Engineer for a Navy program. This contingent, hybrid role requires an active secret clearance and hands-on experience across the full system development lifecycle, including RMF, SAPs, and A&A efforts.

You will plan and execute scans with ACAS/Nessus, review STIGs/SCAP, and remediate vulnerabilities with developers. Jira, eMASS and VRAM experience is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT II certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus 5+ years in cybersecurity.
• Experience developing SAPs, POA&Ms and SARs.
• Experience conducting Nessus and ACAS scans.
• Knowledge of STIG/SRGs, SCAP and security controls on Windows/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute system scans to meet client requirements and report findings.
• Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with engineers.
• Support RMF processes to achieve ATO/IATT and develop SAPs/POA&Ms.
• Assist in creating security assessment documentation and reports.
