Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter for Cyber and Technology E&O in a Hybrid Philadelphia role. You will underwrite a diverse portfolio and drive growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.

You will build relationships with brokers and clients, develop pricing strategies, and stay ahead of cyber and regulatory trends. The role offers flexibility with a three-day in-office market presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting or market-facing area (3+ years).
• Knowledge of lines of business and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Cyber, Technology E&O, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Manufacturers E&O, and Employed Lawyers policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to underwriting strategy and initiatives.
• Pursue new business opportunities and expand Zurich’s portfolio.
• Comply with underwriting rules, insurance laws, and rating manual rules.
• Monitor cyber/Technology E&O trends and translate insights into risk selection and pricing.
• Balance growth, profitability, and risk in line with strategy.
• Develop expertise in Zurich’s Cyber and Professional Liability products and communicate coverage positions to brokers.
• Understand client needs and work with brokers to create value while maintaining discipline.
