Qualifications

• An engineering degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software and Microsoft Office.
• An understanding of product costing, cost estimating, and selling price considerations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• A customer-focused approach and the confidence to work directly with customers and sales teams.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to make timely decisions.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to travel 10 -20%.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers alongside the sales team to understand application requirements and recommend technically sound, commercially viable solutions.
• Review customer specifications and develop product design proposals for new and existing programs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing analyses for management review.
• Build a thorough understanding of the company’s products, engineering capabilities, and manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical guidance to field sales and internal teams throughout the proposal and product development process.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, purchasing, and program coordination teams to support new product and program launches.
• Identify potential markets, customers, and applications for new and existing products.
• Travel with the sales team to support customer relationships and business development opportunities.
• Manage multiple proposals and competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
