Job summary

SoundExchange is offering a 10-week paid Customer Services internship in Washington, DC, with hybrid work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You'll shadow team members, document customer interactions, and contribute to customer journeys while building professional skills.

The program includes a $20/hour wage, a $2,000 housing/transport stipend, and opportunities to present findings to leaders. Ideal candidates are undergraduates entering junior or senior year, with strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• Be an undergraduate student heading into junior or senior year.
• Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program with minimum GPA as described.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Customer Services team members across multiple functions.
• Document customer interactions and key journey touchpoints.
• Conduct research on customer processes and workflows.
• Participate in team meetings and operational discussions.
• Maintain project notes, observations, and findings.
• Develop and update the customer journey map and supporting materials.
• Interview subject matter experts and summarize insights.
• Prepare presentations and reports communicating findings and recommendations.
• All interns are required to give a presentation at the conclusion of their internship.
