Job summary

Blue Ridge Communications seeks a Hybrid Customer Experience Specialist to build trusted relationships with customers. You will assist by phone and at the retail counter, delivering a friendly, helpful service and guiding customers on bill questions, installations, or service use.

The role requires strong listening and communication skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to work in a busy retail environment with some training at Lehighton and local offices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing, troubleshooting, retention and sales support to customers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to account inquiries in one call.
• Educate customers on product features and promote self-service options.
• Match products to customer needs with upgrades or swaps.
• Handle cash and payments following procedures; issue receipts.
• Act as product consultant, identify buying signals and close sales.
• Explain account information and resolve complaints with empathy.
• Maintain clean, stocked store appearance and support store operations.
• Attend to other duties as assigned.
