Job summary

COFAM- Corporation Of the Fine Arts Museums in San Francisco seeks a Fixed-Term Curatorial Project Coordinator for the Prints & Drawings department. You will support day-to-day operations, research for exhibitions, and loans, while helping document the collection in TMS and coordinate in-house activities.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule, a 1-year term from November 2026 to November 2027, and a union benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance with generous time

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in art history; knowledge of graphic arts required.
• Master's degree in Art History preferred.
• At least 2 years of curatorial or related museum experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day administrative operations of the Prints and Drawings Department.
• Support research for exhibitions and publications; assist with loans.
• Prepare digital presentations and order library materials as needed.
• Coordinate with staff to document acquisitions, deaccessioning, and cataloging in TMS.
• Generate and track progress for internal requests using Asana.
• Provide administrative support for the Achenbach Graphic Arts Council.
