Job summary

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in psychology, social science, human science, education, health science, or behavior science.
• Master's degree in one of the listed fields can substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis (max one year).
• Bachelor's degree with internship in the Department of Disability and Aging may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site and/or remote consultation and intervention services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as needed.
• Conducts individualized assessments for assigned referrals and reviews records/interviews informants.
• Collects client information and records to create internal program reports and individualized crisis stabilization plans.
• Coordinates external partnerships including third party agencies and organizations.
• Provides training for caregivers and external partners when necessary.
• Maintains current industry knowledge to perform interventions and trainings appropriately.
• Acts as liaison and advocate for the client throughout service enrollment.
• Leads meetings to identify client needs and adjust plans.
• Provides 24/7/365 on-call services, including nights and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Education

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
