Qualifications

• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field with emphasis on rehabilitation, counseling, disability, therapy, health, employment, wellness, or human development.
• Within 90 days of hire, enroll for required courses or pursue CRCC certification or have CRCC certification.
• Must submit an educational plan and get approval as per the education plan within 36 months of hire.
• Criminal history disclosure form and release of records required, with fingerprinting.
• Possess a valid driver's license where applicable; transcript required at application.

Responsibilities

• Collects medical and psychological information to determine eligibility for services.
• Monitor labor market trends to support job placements.
• Conducts assessments of skills, interests, and goals.
• Develop and adjust rehabilitation and employment plans with customers.
• Explain medical, psychological, and vocational information to customers.
• Assist customers in making informed decisions about goals and options.
• Coordinate appointments, training, and assessments for participation in programs.
• Ensure authorizations and vendor payments are processed properly.
• Educate employers and the public on rehabilitation services.
