Job summary

EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. in Irving, TX, is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to manage credit and collections policies, process customer documentation and cash activity, and reconcile accounts.

This role supports invoice distribution, cash application, and account reconciliation while ensuring accurate and timely information exchange to support customer satisfaction and business objectives. The position is hybrid, with opportunities to collaborate across departments and contribute

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in hands on accounts receivable work.
• Experience with IBM-compatible PCs and MS-DOS/Windows.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and payment discrepancies.
• Respond to customer and internal inquiries professionally and timely.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain invoices, credit memos, and statements.
• Maintain and update customer contact information for active accounts.
• Process and apply customer payments within the accounting system.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and balance cash activity at month-end.
• Generate reports on delinquent accounts and collection activities.
• Adhere to the Approval Matrix and contribute to team goals.
