Job summary

Bancroft is seeking a Credentialing and Privileging Specialist to join our corporate headquarters in Cherry Hill, NJ. The hybrid role combines 3 days in-office with 2 days from home, focusing on credentialing, privileging, and re-credentialing for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.

The role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains credentialing data, and supports enrollment with managed care providers. NAMSS certification is preferred or obtainable within a year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with at least 3 years’ experience, including 2 years in credentialing or related hospital/managed care fields.
• NAMSS certification as CPCMSM or CPCS preferred, or ability to certify within one year.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong interpersonal skills; valid driver's license in your name.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, monitor, and maintain privileging, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes for medical staff and allied professionals.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory bodies and maintain accuracy of credentialing databases.
• Establish CAQH accounts and manage provider enrollment with managed care payers; conduct internal audits and provide updates to leadership.
