WellPower in Denver is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for healthcare providers, interns, and volunteers, ensuring active status with networks and governing bodies.

The role supports NCQA, CMS, and state regulations, tracking expirations, renewals, and maintaining CAQH and NPI profiles. This is a hybrid position with both remote and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical credentialing and/or provider enrollment experience.
• Experience maintaining credentialing files in compliance with NCQA, CMS, and state regulations.
• Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and process provider documentation including licenses, certifications, and education.
• Submit applications to insurance payers and monitor approval status.
• Maintain credentialing files and CAQH/NPI profiles in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Generate reports for leadership and assist with audits.
• Serve as liaison between providers, insurers, and internal departments.
• Hybrid/onsite balancing credentialing activities.
