Job summary

Nascentia Health, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Credentialing & Contract Management Specialist to join our Provider Relations team.

This role will organize, verify, and manage all credentialing activities, ensuring accurate data and timely processing for commercial payors, Medicare, and Medicaid. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks, and communicates effectively with providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with credentialing and health plan processes is preferred.
• Ability to learn the organization’s software system.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review credentialing files with providers to obtain missing/expiring items.
• Maintain relationships with providers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Track expirations of certificates and licenses to keep files up-to-date.
• Utilize credentialing software for initial and re-credentialing.
• Coordinate CAQH and NPPES credentialing for all providers.
• Assist in producing provider directories and respond to provider inquiries.
