Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
• 3–5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience.
• Proficiency with WORD, Excel, iManage, Webex and Hot Docs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review closing documents for real estate closings.
• Draft and review title-related documents and reports.
• Calculate and pro-rate adjustments and closing costs.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, banks and title company representatives.
• Manage closing from contract to final closing and post-closing.
• Order and review title commitments, surveys and related documents.
• Prepare title abstracts, review surveys and zoning reports.
• Prepare closing file and coordinate execution, including attendance at closing.
• Attend to post-closing matters and file organization.
