Confidential Employer. is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing real estate practice in Detroit with hybrid work options to Grand Rapids. You will handle a diverse range of property transactions and work closely with clients and senior attorneys.

The role requires 1+ years of CRE transactional experience and an active Michigan Bar license; a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school is preferred.

Formación

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Michigan Bar license.
• 1+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating commercial real estate agreements.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Commercial leasing, acquisition, disposition, development, or real estate financing experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and other real estate contracts.
• Assist with transactions from initial structuring and due diligence through negotiation and closing.
• Review title commitments, surveys, zoning issues, environmental reports, and other due diligence materials.
• Identify potential legal and business risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Communicate directly with clients, lenders, developers, and other transaction participants.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys across real estate, corporate, and related practice areas.
• Take on increasing ownership of transactions as you develop your experience and expertise.
