Job summary

VAA is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler II in Minneapolis, MN. You will develop and maintain CPM schedules for multidisciplinary projects, coordinating inputs from PMs, discipline leads, clients, and contractors to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or certificate in construction management, engineering technology, project controls, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CPM scheduling or project controls for engineering or construction projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules with Primavera Cloud or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed CPM schedules for engineering or construction projects.
• Create baseline schedules using Primavera Cloud and/or Microsoft Project, with milestones, logic, calendars, constraints, and resources.
• Coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to obtain inputs and maintain schedule accuracy.
• Analyze schedules to identify critical activities and potential delays; monitor progress and produce weekly/monthly reports.
• Develop recovery, acceleration, and mitigation plans when schedules lag or variances occur.
• Interface schedules with budgets, labor forecasts, staffing plans, and project controls reporting.
