Job summary

CS&L CPAs is recruiting a CPA Senior Accountant in downtown Sarasota, FL. You will oversee operations, finance, and administration while partnering with firm leadership to drive growth and client service.

The role supports flexible onsite work with remote days after 90 days, and opportunities for mentorship and professional development. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience in professional services, CPA/CMA designation, and a track record of automation and internal

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience in a mid-sized professional services environment; CPA or CMA preferred.
Proven ability to leverage technology and automate accounting workflows.
Strong financial acumen with budgeting, billing, and internal controls.
Experience with Intacct, Bill.com, CCH; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations across multiple offices.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, payroll, billing, collections, cash flow, and financial reporting.
Partner with leadership on strategic planning and process improvements.
Implement scalable processes and leverage technology for productivity and client service.
Direct HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and development.
Travel occasionally to Bradenton and Tampa as needed.
