CS&L CPAs in downtown Sarasota seeks a Controller to lead operations, finance, and administration across multiple offices. You’ll partner with leadership to optimize performance, improve processes, and support growth, while delivering an exceptional employee and client experience.

The role requires a CPA or CMA, 5+ years in mid-sized professional services, and expertise in budgeting, billing, internal controls, and financial systems (Intacct, Bill.com, CCH).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience in a mid-sized professional services environment; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience leveraging technology to automate accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across multiple locations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, payroll, billing, collections, cash flow, and reporting.
• Partner with leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Streamline workflows using scalable processes and technology.
• Direct human resources functions including recruiting, benefits, onboarding, and compliance.
• Manage technology, vendors, facilities, and business continuity.
