Wipfli in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Tax Manager to oversee federal and multi-state tax engagements for manufacturing clients. The role combines technical tax expertise with client leadership, team development, and advisory work.

CPA with 5+ years of experience is ideal. You will coordinate with specialty tax teams, lead client relationships, review returns, and contribute to business development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA certification in the practicing state.
• 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Manufacturing and flow-through entity experience required.
• Subject matter leader in similar accounting and/or tax services.
• Management and/or mentoring experience with other staff members.
• Experience making recommendations to management.
• Prior public accounting experience desired.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
• Review Federal and Multi-State flow-through and corporate tax returns.
• Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.
• Research and consult on technical matters and special projects.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service.
• Actively participate in business development efforts to include working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospects.
• Manage, train and develop staff. Participate in the performance review process.
