Van Drunen Farms is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our hybrid team in Momence, IL, with 3 days onsite. The role focuses on analyzing expenses, cost transactions, and financial data to ensure accurate reporting and proper cost allocation across projects and departments.

You will prepare detailed analyses, support cost reviews, and collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting to optimize costs and improve financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Two+ years of experience as Financial Analyst, Cost Analyst, or similar.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze expenses, cost transactions, and financial data for accurate reporting and proper cost allocation.
• Prepare detailed financial analyses, project cost evaluations, expense forecasts, variance analysis, and cost-saving recommendations.
• Support monthly manufacturing cost reviews by analyzing variances (MUV, PPV, labor costs, yield variances).
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting to investigate variances and update bills of materials and routings.
• Assist in development of financial planning, forecasting, BI tools, and reporting (Adaptive FP&A).
• Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and leadership reporting packages.
