Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a Cost Analyst to analyze expenses, prepare detailed financial analyses, and support cost reviews across manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, data-driven insights, and collaboration with Operations, Finance, and Accounting teams.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a financial/cost analysis role, a strong Excel/BI skill set, and excellent communication abilities to present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Cost Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze expenses, cost transactions, and financial data for accurate reporting and cost allocation across projects and departments.
• Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports, including project cost evaluations, expense forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support monthly manufacturing cost reviews by analyzing variances like MUV, PPV, labor costs, and yields.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting to investigate variances and update bills of material and routings.
• Assist in development/enhancement of FP&A tools and reporting, including Adaptive FP&A systems.
