Job summary

Riverpoint Medical in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Cost Accountant in a hybrid role with onsite expectation three days per week. You will maintain cost and inventory records, support month-end close, analyze variances and partner with FP&A to improve profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 5+ years of standard cost experience, and strong Excel, Oracle and SAP skills. Collaboration with Operations is critical in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Five or more years of standard cost accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP standard costing and inventory experience; Oracle and SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate cost and inventory information and support month-end close.
• Analyze manufacturing and gross margin variances and partner with Operations and FP&A.
• Drive standard cost updates and periodic reviews of part costs.
• Assist with cycle count program and physical inventories as needed.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations; ensure SOX compliance.
• Support audits and provide cost-related insights to improve profitability.
