Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform cost accounting activities and analyze manufacturing costs.
• Maintain and analyze inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliations and valuation.
• Review production costs, variances, and related financial data.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions as needed.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
