Job summary

ZincFive, Inc. in Tualatin, Oregon, seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to own standard costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing cost analysis, and cost-related month-end close activities.

You will partner with operations, engineering and finance to support accurate product costing and financial reporting. This hybrid position requires 2–3 days in the office and remaining time remote, reporting to the VP & Global Corporate Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with manufacturing cost accounting responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, standard costing and inventory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own the standard costing process and maintain product standard costs.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory activity, and variances; explain results and suggest actions.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close related to inventory and cost accounting.
