A Cleveland-based law firm is partnering with Aspen Careers, LLC to hire a Corporate/Business Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in corporate or transactional law, with an active Ohio license and experience handling contracts and business matters.

The role offers hybrid flexibility in Cleveland, OH, a supportive team, and opportunities to work closely with business owners on governance, real estate, and M&A matters. A balanced, client-focused practice is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corporate, business, or transactional law experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Active Ohio law license required.
• Experience representing closely held businesses and handling commercial contracts and agreements.
• Familiarity with corporate governance, business transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Exposure to real estate transactions and corporate compliance matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with closely held businesses on corporate, transactional, and general business matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, business agreements, and other corporate documents.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, transactional documentation, and data room management.
• Support corporate governance and compliance matters, including entity formation, organizational documents, resolutions, and state filings.
• Gain exposure to real estate transactions, including deeds, leases, and related documentation.
• Join a collaborative environment where attorneys are supported in developing their practices and strengthening client relationships.
