Job summary

Cella Inc. in Malvern, PA seeks an experienced Event Planner Specialist to lead end-to-end corporate event logistics, partnering with senior leaders to define objectives, oversee budgets, source venues, and coordinate vendors for world-class experiences.

You will manage programs under marketing direction, travel domestically up to 20%, use Cvent for logistics, mentor junior staff, and ensure flawless execution before, during, and after each event on a 6+ month hybrid contract (37.5 hours/week).

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of formal corporate event planning experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Cvent is required.
• Core skills include venue sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, AV oversight, food & beverage planning, and budget management.
• Travel domestically 10-20%.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and ability to interface with C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and coordinate logistics for corporate meetings and events across various sizes and formats.
• Consult with senior stakeholders to define event objectives, target audiences, and pre/post-event strategies.
• Manage event budgets, track spending, and address financial or logistical concerns with sponsors.
• Oversee venue sourcing, contract negotiations, room setups, food & beverage, AV services, and vendors.
• Gather pre- and post-event data to deliver status reporting, analyze results, and drive improvement.
• Communicate event statuses, risks, and proposed solutions to leadership and teams.
• Ensure corporate protocols and brand standards are maintained.
• Mentor and support junior team members to build event planning capability.
