Responsibilities include handling M&A, drafting and negotiating agreements, due diligence, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of corporate transactional experience.
• Experience with sophisticated M&A in a leading law firm environment.
• Energy experience in power, renewable energy, or oil and gas is a plus but not required.
• Active Texas bar membership or eligibility for admission.
• Strong drafting, analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Willingness to use innovative legal technology, including Harvey AI.

Responsibilities

• Handle M&A, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support energy-related transactions involving power assets, renewable energy, and project development.
• Work closely with clients and experienced corporate attorneys on complex transactions.
