The role provides a hybrid schedule, exposure to litigation workflows, and access to Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years paralegal experience in insurance defense.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Masterful understanding of the litigation flow and urgency in advancing cases.

Responsabilités

• Drafting legal documents including complaints, pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.
• Prepare and file court documents; ensure timeliness and compliance with rules.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other counsel.
• Manage case files and organize documents and exhibits for trial.
• Assist attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analyze implications of information gathered.
• Summarize depositions, legal documents, and trial testimony.
