Job summary

Google is seeking a Corporate Counsel for the Platforms and Devices+ Legal team in the United States. You will advise on privacy, consumer protection, telecom laws, and ecommerce across Google’s global retail operations.

As part of a collaborative in-house group, you’ll draft and negotiate complex agreements, assess legal risks, and help shape product initiatives while balancing business needs and legal risk.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the bar in good standing or equivalent authorization.
• 3+ years attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm.
• Experience advising telecom companies on regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of telecoms related agreements.
• Manage legal aspects of extended warranty and insurance programs.
• Oversee retail operations agreements, vendor management, and licensing deals.
• Ensure compliance with FCC, EU DMA, GDPR/CCPA, and related laws.
