Job summary

Trimont, a leading global real estate loan services provider, is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support loan servicing, asset management, and corporate teams from our Charlotte, NC office on a hybrid basis. The role requires a J.D., 2–5 years of practice, experience with securitized and balance sheet loans, and strong drafting, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

You will partner with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficient matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and undergraduate college degree required.
• 2–5 years of full-time legal practice.
• Experience representing commercial real estate loan servicers or related securitized/balance sheet loans desirable.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating servicing, services and vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including client, vendor, and consulting agreements, NDAs, CMBS and balance sheet documents, and corporate filings.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and regulatory matters.
• Advise stakeholders on commercial mortgage servicing and corporate matters.
• Manage multiple projects and requests while ensuring timely delivery.
