Job summary

Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support corporate, regulatory, and transactional matters for a mortgage servicing and financial services organization. Hybrid role in Denver, CO, or Coral Gables, FL, with three-office days per week and a competitive base salary of $140,000–$162,000 plus bonus.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., active US bar admission, and strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar admission.
• Ability to obtain in-house counsel registration where required.
• Strong legal research and written/oral communication skills.
• High attention to detail and solid organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements.
• Support corporate governance documentation and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Conduct legal research on federal/state/local laws to inform policies and decisions.
• Assist with MSR-related documentation and due diligence.
• Manage IP portfolio activities and liaise with outside counsel on filings.
• Provide practical legal guidance to various business units.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes and strategy.
• Support corporate transactions, due diligence, and closing processes.
• Develop standardized legal processes and templates; mentor staff.
• Maintain organized document management systems.
