The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in accounting, public/private sector experience, and a background in private equity/real estate or financial services.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Public accounting background preferred.
• Experience as a Controller in private equity/real estate or financial services.
• Experience owning corporate close, intercompany allocations, and fee invoicing.
• Hands-on treasury experience including cash management.
• Accounts payable/receivable and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for the management company and entities.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts in Sage Intacct; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, allocations, billbacks, and shared services costs.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules for management company results.
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor management, Concur expenses, and corporate card programs.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Calculate distributable cash after reserves per policy.
• Coordinate external auditors and tax advisors; support audit processes.
• Develop and improve policies, controls, and automation within accounting workflows.
• Support Sage Intacct, Concur, and system optimization; partner cross-functionally with Investors.
