Great American Insurance Group, a leader in insurance, seeks an In-House Counsel with 3+ years of relevant experience to support the Property & Casualty Group in Cincinnati, OH. You will review and negotiate contracts, advise on corporate and vendor matters, and partner with management to deliver practical legal solutions.

The role emphasizes strong communication, risk assessment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, on-site setting with some remote work

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law.
• 3+ years of relevant in-house or law-firm experience in corporate/commercial matters.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology, services, and other commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and counsel on a wide range of contracts for the Property & Casualty Group.
• Advise on insurance matters and general corporate/commercial issues.
• Build relationships across the company to tailor legal advice to business needs.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to achieve optimal results for clients.
• Identify risks and provide practical guidance to management.
