Atlas Copco in Voorheesville, NY, is seeking a Controls Engineer for a hybrid role. You will support controls and project teams, reporting to the Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. The role involves coordinating with customers and sub-vendors, and ensuring designs meet NEC and other standards.

Formación

• Ability to run projects independently.
• Customer relations experience
• Understanding of NEC
• Proficiency of MS Office and AutoCAD

Responsabilidades

• Read and describe customer specs and incorporate them into designs.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and sub-vendors while providing accurate technical answers on engineering issues.
• Direct panel designs to internal systems.
• Understand and apply electrical industry standards (NEC, IEC, ATEX, UL, CSA, etc.) to compressor instrumentation and control systems.
• Conduct design review meetings to ensure the completeness and the accuracy of the control system deliverables and ensure designs comply with relevant work instructions and/or international standards
