Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR, GL and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for three units.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure GAAP and statutory accounting compliance for insurance carriers.
• Support external audits and implement internal controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants; participate in special projects.
• Manage cash flow and short-term investments; maintain banking relationships.
• Compile policy and claim data for the reinsurance placement process.
