Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Control System Platforms & Standards intern for the summer 2027. The role is a paid full-time hybrid internship located at Warrendale, PA, reporting to the Control & Information System Engineering Manager.

The responsibilities include designing, documenting, and testing l&C plant systems for nuclear power generation and supporting hardware/software design implementations, test plans, and field change notices.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, nuclear, or computer engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsabilidades

• Design, document and test l&C Plant Systems used for Nuclear Power Generation Stations applications
• Implement l&C hardware and software designs to meet design specifications
• Develop design documents, test plans and procedures to demonstrate that designs meet design specifications and requirements
• Create and issue Field Change Notices to site to support hardware and software modifications
• Resolve technical issues that arise during system design, implementation and site commissioning/startup
• Support manufacturing operations to facilitate procurement, manufacturing process, testing and integration of l&C Plant Systems during Software In-Loop and Factory Acceptance Testing
• Support field operations during site commissioning and startup activities
• Work with Supply Chain Management, manufacturing, outside vendors and other departments impacted by l&C Plant systems design & development

Educación

Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, nuclear, or computer engineering

Completed Sophomore year of college
