Job summary

The University of Denver is seeking a contracts professional in University Financial Services, Denver, CO. You will manage the contracts workflow, coordinate with General Counsel, Risk Management, and vendors, and ensure deadlines and policies are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Two to four (2-4) years of procurement, contract management/administration, paralegal

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contracts workflow daily and set priorities.
• Liaise with General Counsel, Risk Management, suppliers, departments, and senior management on contracts.
• Negotiate and develop complex agreements, RFPs, pricing, and service standards.
• Review contracts for risk, insurance, indemnification, IP, data security.
• Guide improvements in compliance and risk management; provide training.
• Stay updated on university initiatives affecting procurement contracts.
• Other duties as assigned
