Job summary

FMX is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee end-to-end legal operations, acting as the gatekeeper for the contract lifecycle. You will bridge sales, finance, and legal, ensuring precise handling of NDAs, SaaS contracts, and addenda.

You will manage CRM data and flag complex terms for counsel review. The role requires 3–5+ years in contract management or legal operations, experience with Salesforce, and the ability to negotiate while balancing risk and velocity.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in contract management, paralegal work, or legal operations.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM to manage contract data.
• Proven ability to review legal redlines and negotiate terms while balancing risk with business needs.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and spotting discrepancies in legal documents.
• Familiarity with DPAs and data security/privacy compliance.
• Ability to explain legal risks and trade-offs to CFO and Sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-pass reviews of redlines and addenda to identify deviations from company standards and prepare documents for further negotiation.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external escalations by flagging high-risk items or complex legal language for third-party counsel or CFO review
• Own the standard contract forms (SaaS Agreement, Partner Agreements, and NDAs) to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Maintain Salesforce and CRM integrity by updating the system with specific agreement details, executed addendums, and negotiated terms
• Execute first-pass reviews of DPAs and any security-related legal paperwork or questionnaires to ensure data protection standards are met
• Oversee general compliance initiatives including privacy regulations, data security standards, and international legal requirements
