Job summary

AlixPartners is seeking a Legal Professional to support engagement documentation, risk management, and contract workflows from Southfield, MI. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders, clients, and external professionals in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has paralegal experience, strong writing and organizational skills, and comfort with contract management systems (Ironclad) and ServiceNow. This position offers a hybrid office/remote arrangement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting consulting, professional services, legal, compliance, risk management, or client-facing functions across multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy and restructuring matters is advantageous.
• Proficiency with contract management tools and MS Office.
• Willingness to use firm-approved AI tools to support productivity.
• Excellent proofreading, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage requests via Ironclad, ServiceNow, email, and other channels to ensure timely handling.
• Draft, review, revise, coordinate, and track client engagement documents (letters, NDAs, reports, etc.).
• Coordinate communication with clients, internal stakeholders, in-house counsel, and outside professionals.
• Coordinate, track, and report on Risk Management Committee activities and approvals.
• Maintain reports, trackers, and records related to engagements and workflows.
• Assist with review of complex or higher-risk engagements and related approvals.
