Careers In Nonprofits is seeking a Communications & Content Manager in Lower Manhattan. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role combines writing, design, and content management across email, social media, web, and print.

You will tell the organization’s story, maintain brand consistency, manage digital channels, and support a website redesign. Some evenings and weekends are required to cover events.

Qualifications

• 3 years of communications, marketing, content, or related experience required.
• Strong writing and editing skills required.
• Experience creating and managing social media, email, and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Create content across email, social media, websites, print materials, photography, video, and digital campaigns.
• Manage social media, email marketing, website content, digital campaigns, and the editorial calendar.
• Develop content for flyers, newsletters, banners, event promotions, and recaps.
• Maintain a content calendar to coordinate across departments.
• Support a refreshed brand and ensure communications align with new guidelines.
• Help manage website content and collaborate on a website redesign.
• Support website content, storytelling, and user experience.
• Develop targeted communications using CRM data and audience insights.
• Partner with teams to identify stories, plan campaigns, and capture events.
• Monitor performance and optimize across channels.
• Manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Serve as a communications partner across departments.
