Job summary

Align Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Support Specialist to handle sound processing of new consumer loan requests, verify documentation and support underwriting and funding.

The role collaborates with Consumer Loan Underwriters and reports to the Consumer Loan Supervisor. This hybrid position requires 1–2 days in the office weekly and offers base pay of $20.00–$24.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sound processing of new consumer loan requests and review of supporting documentation for underwriting and funding.
• Prepare loan documents for in-branch closings and fund consumer loan electronic closings; ensure electronic delivery of documents.
• Process credit card documents from branches; complete credit card order form and upload to Nautilus; coordinate with Operations.
• Take applications and enter into loan origination system via phone or internet; be available to answer calls in the underwriting queues.
